Not to take raspberry leaf capsules until 37 weeks??

I can't remember when I started with my other 2 but thought it was before 37 weeks but midwife said not to, I'm 34 weeks now...when did you all start raspberry leaf capsules? X

I started them at 32 weeks. I noticed an increase im braxton hicks but nothing else. They aren't suppose to bring on labor and are generally considered safe.

I waited until closer to the end with my first, and ended up being induced and pushed for two hours. Started at the end of the 2nd/beginning of the third trimester with my second and went into labor on my own and only had to push 4 times, so I think starting earlier helped that time. Maybe ask why your midwife is telling you to wait? (Might be related to a health concern?) My midwife just said to wait until after the first trimester to start taking it.

I read start at 32 weeks. I started at 33 because I forgot haha. Some people start it at the beginning of the second trimester - nothing will happen because you started it a couple of weeks early.
Your midwife is probably just being really really cautious.
I remember reading on BabyCentre that it needs time to build up in your system so I'd say 37 weeks is leaving it pretty late
