the following link is a blog that contains lots of information on 'cutting your baby' personally i think it is very very wrong.....you have to just look at photos of poor baby boys being cut to see that. the very subject makes me feel sick to my bones. the thought of forcing a baby to be strapped to a table given a sugar pacifier and a part if his penis cut off is soul destroying. i strongly urge mamas to look into the subject fully before consenting for their sons to have this needless out dated surgery.

good for you, it something that if your son decideds that he wants to have after all he can consent for himself when he is older

My fiance is circumcised because of a medical condition when he was a child, it was getting too tight and it was painful for him.

im glad that anesthetic was given, there are so many 'doctors' that dont use it when performing circumcision even in this day and age.

My OH was cut as a child due to medical reasons. I have seen both sides of the coin so to speak and I do prefer the Cut penis. However, I will not be getting either of my boys circumcised.

I have always said a girls parts are FAR more likely to get infected than any form of penis and we dont go around freaking out about that and cutting parts off her. That is what I tell my sis and she cant think of an argument for it
Is there a different way to care for the parts down there when they are uncut as a baby? I mean.. I know this is getting graphic, but when my son was a baby it was pretty easy to keep the area clean. If they are uncut do you have to pull back the foreskin during a bath to clean under it until they are able to do it? (may sound stupid but I have no idea how that stuff works for uncut boys)

My DHs fear is that the other boys at school will see him during shower time in gym class and make fun of him before he's old enough to understand that its OK to be different.
