I hope the scan shows otherwise littleblonde!! Good luck

Mitsuko..indeed, i've had a bit of a read on breech vag births and to be honest, it doesn't appeal at all. I know the increased risk to bubs is only slight, but it still scares me. lol.

My little one was breech all the way from about 20 weeks (when they first start taking notice of the position) until 31 weeks or so. One day I felt really uncomfortable for a few hours and I felt his head bulging out of one side and his bottom from the other, I think that's where he turned, because at my last ultrasound (32w5d) he had turned!

Hehehe @ spritey! That must have been a site - bulging bum/head! Sounds like it took quite an effort for bubs to turn himself around...

Hopefully mine will do the same (fingers crossed!)

Yeah, I have a heart-shaped uterus so he probably had to figure out how to move in that wacky space! My tummy looked totally weird!

Hey Miss Tanya! How are you? My LO keeps moving around...at my last MW appointment he was head down...since then his favourite position seems to be head under my rib cage!

I hope our babies turn soon!

The advisability of a breech vaginal birth also depends on whether you have had kids before (and have a "proven uterus" ) and which breech position the baby is in... (some, like footling breech, are much more dangerous to deliver vaginally than others...). Also be aware that breech vaginal deliveries are relatively rare, so although midwives/doctors are trained how to deliver them, they don't get to practice those techniques very often...

BUT definitely don't worry about it for a few weeks (until you get to about 36 weeks).

Well, two days later, he's decided breech isn't much fun, so he's partway transverse again only this time with his feet to the opposite side. Not too fussed as he's got plenty of time to figure things out and he's clearly still happily moving about.
