If you are getting an ISOfix carseat, which one are you choosing?

Hi everyone,

We're currently trying to purchase an ISOfix car seat for our baby, who is due next month. We have a Silvercross pram so we initially looked at the Silvercross Ventura car seat but it's not ISOfix and we'd ideally like a carseat that is ISOfix compatible rather than using a seatbeat. (Also I'm not sure if the Silvercross would fit our car, as I've read that the seatbelts might be too short.)

We're currently looking at the Mamas and Papa's Primo Viaggio IP, this one - http://www.mamasandpapas.com/product...283000/type-i/ I'm on the verge of ordering it but I've read good and bad reviews, so I'm hesitating. However it takes awhile to be delivered, so I really need to decide quickly! Do any of you have a Mamas and Papas car seat or will be choosing one?

If you're getting an ISOfix compatible car seat, which one are you choosing? If you have an ISOfix car seat, do you recommend it?

Any help/advice would be very welcome as I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed and confused as to what to get

Thanks,

- Greta.

Hiya,

I got the Britax Vigour Pram and SHR car seat which has an isofix base. The car seat clicks into the pram with one hand and no adaptors and into and out of the car with one hand too so its super easy to use. Got the whole lot for 400 from Kiddicare.com. I'm really pleased with it and would defiantly recommend it to anyone!

We also have the Maxi Cosi Cabriofix with the isofix base: it has the highest safety rating (when used with the isofix base) on the "Which?" website...

I have this one as it came with my travel system and i havent had any problems with it other than DS out growing it too quickly but thats due to his size lol , i didnt get the isofix base i just got a normal base last time but might splash out on the isofix base this time around
ds's current seat ( Maxi Cosi Priori XP ) is Isofix and although the lack of storage on the floor in front of the carseat is annoying ( caus of the bar used to secure the carseat gets in the way ) id rather DS be safer
