For first time mums, when did u go into labour

Hey, just wondering, from previous pregnancys when did u go into labour? Esp with your first born. Im almost 37 weeks with first baby and had appointment yesterday and midwife said most people go 10 days over and need induced with first.... just not what i needed to hear when im already so uncomfortable and impatient

I was one day overdue with my first. My periods were very regular tho prior to conception (every 28 days). I'm sure that's why it was so accurate.

I did a poll oN here a couple of mnths back and it worked out abt 50/50 for born before and after 40wks. I think maybe theres slightly more risk of u going over but most women still give birth without having to be induced.

Youre not the only one btw. Im depressingly uncomfy and terrified of induction. I will have to hope baby is listening!

With my first i went 9days over, and was lucky bcos i was booked in to be induced the day after.
I know its very uncomfotable, i tryed all the things the said to help get baby out, but nothing worked! I guess LO will cum out when he/she is ready to.
