Baby movement at 31 weeks

Ok I KNOW I posted a couple of weeks ago worried about the lack of movement from my little one but I need some more advice/info/reassurance from you guys now...

I went to my antenatal three days ago and midwife said all seemed fine - listened to babys heartbeat etc and it was a nice 136bpm and for about 4 days before that antenatal I'd been getting loads of big movement from bump, but for the rest of Thursday and all the days since I've only had little movement, kind of like when you're first starting to feel bubba moving...

And I'm worried - again! Is this normal?? Does anyone else get days where everything is very still and quiet?

Sorry for the kinda repeated post x

hey hun, i wouldn't worry your baby has probably just changed positions so you are feeling movement less, plus bubba may have had a growth spurt and now have less space to move.
If you are worried then there is no harm in ringing your midwife just to put your mind at rest. But babies movement is meant to slow down at around this stage anyway xx

If your baby has always been a lazy baby then you have nothing to worry about. Just like if you have always had a hyperactive baby. They might have one day when they're acting a little different to usual, or maybe even a week. At this point I think they're trying to wrok out a routine? I don't count movements, or pay that much attention. If I can't remember the last time she moved I just do something that'll make her move, like suck on an icecube!

Thankyou so much - you guys always seem to make me feel better and think straighter about things! Yes she has always been a lazy baby - haven't had much movement at all until those few days last week - so I guess she's just back to lazy again!

I'm just such a worrier, want everything to be perfect for my little girl, can't stand the thought that something might happen to her - I guess I just feel so blessed to have got pregnant and to be this far through that I'm kinda waiting for something to go wrong! Silly really aren't I?! x
