Extreme pain in left bum cheek and leg?

Soo... i've been getting extreme pain in my left bum cheek and leg over the past two days. Its like an excruciating stabbing/shooting pain every time i move my leg.
I did have a very mild case of this last week for a day after i had been shopping but i haven't done ANYTHING really over the past two days except a bit of hw and looking after DD!
I have no idea what it could be except maybe baby sitting on a nerve? Its so bad i almost cry just walking across my living room to the toilet!!
Anybody got any ideas?

If it has a burning sensation with it its probably sciatic nerve if not its probably baby got his bum sat on a nerve or artery either way its most likely babys fault sitting wherever they please .
Im getting this more at the top of the inside of my legs at the moment rather then down the back.

I get something similar...whether it is sciatica or baby I dunno.
However I have discovered the following always helps to relieve it.

I lay down on the floor, no pillow or anything and slowly let my back settle back into a natural position. It can really hurt to begin with as my spine clicks and creaks. However after about 5 minutes or so I find the shooting pains have stopped and things are feeling better.

I had to do this in the office the other day, my managers walked in and wondered what I was up to!!

Hope this helps if you decide to give it a go.
xx
