Since last night I had this very irritating and painful burning pain either on my outter skin on my upper abdomen or on the upper part of my uterus (hard to tell where its coming from). Also when I was tossing in bed this morning I felt pinches in my uterus, twangs of pain, not like cramps.
Has anyone had these at all. I'm very worried because I'm now almost 28 weeks and had an abruption last time at 28 weeks (however with no pain). Could these be a warning or simply my uterus and skin stretching since I haven't been preggers in 8 yeas.
Any thoughts are welcome - btw babies moving fine..
heartburt can feel alot worse though the further along u get. the heartburn i got to start didnt feel like the heartburn i got later on it was making me be sick it was that bad . i had to cut out certon foods just 2 stop being sick with it. try some rennies or gaviscon just see if it helps at all.
if your worried though i would phone your midwife it dont take long and will give u peace of mind.
i have this and it hurts like hell, it burns something rotten and myn is the babies head in my ribs......its worse at night, and the only relief is to lay on my side and take the pressure off, the pain is horrible by morning its nearly gone and then as the day goes on it gets worse x
Yup, I'm a sufferer too. Posted something similar a few weeks ago. Turned out baby had lodged his big fat bum under my left rib. Sometimes I feel kicks there. Bra was brushing against this area which made it burn so so badly! The area didn't look different...it wasn't even red - but the pain - my god the pain! I ended up dollopping lots of cold moisturiser on the area and not wearing a bra to avoid the pain. Seems to have gotten a lot better now since baby has moved further down. Hope you feel better soon hun. x
I have the same thing. It's like the skin is burning, just under my ribs, especially on the right side. It feels to me like it's stretching. It's worse when I have a large meal as well.
Sorry, not much advice to give, but just wanted to tell you you're not the only one!
