Bits in My urine

Just a quick question about my urine sample. I was at the hospital today to get my thyroid checked and took a sample with me incase they wanted to check it but didnt anyway I noticed just after I had done it there was bits in it which I had seen before but there was a big flake of white stuff in it. Could this be the stuff (sorry cant think of the tech name for it) that covers the babys skin?

You know how your skin replaces itself. i.e. old skin replaces with new skin, well the bladder does the same. All that you are seeing is old dead cells from your bladder and urethra tubes.

I didn't know that either!! Fascinating... I've had bits in my urine before and worried that it meant UTI (I've been prone to them...) or something...

xx

mine is the same .... has white bits in it. mentioned it to midwife and she tested it and said its fine. i was rather worried the first time i noticed it early on in my pregnancy but have since noticed this every time i take a sample in - which mw has obviously tested and she always says its ok.
