I was 31cm at my 28 week apt, was also 31cm at 29 weeks, my next mw is today so will be interesting to see what babys upto. Measurements are very inaccurate my 1st two children where 8lb and 7lb so it dosnt mean you will have a huge baby x
Hi hun, at my 25 week appointment i was measuring at 27 cm so she asked me to come back at 27 weeks instead of 28 and when she measured me at 27 weeks, i was measuring at 30cm so i have to go for a growth scan on monday xxxx
Hi hun, my midwife told me not to worry about the measurements as they're not accurate and all midwives measure differently. I have to see mine every week cos of my blood pressure and I was measuring 27cms at 26,27 & 28wks, the consultant measured 32cms at 29wks and midwife got 29cms at 30wks. Had a growth scan last week though and that showed everything as average x
At my 27 week appointment I measured 30cm. I was a little worried about this but she said she is either a big baby or coming a bit early - I would rather she was early than big! Got docs on Monday so will be interested to see how I am measuring then
I was 30.5 at 28 weeks, which is a bit on the large size but not enough to worry. Make sure they keep checking your glucose in urine though - if you're over the size a lot it could be a sign of gestational diabetes, which will show up as glucose in your urine. 30cm is fine though.
I was measuring really big with my DD and had a big bump and she was 6lbs13 ounces at 42+2 so she was small really. I think fundal height is not very accurate to determine wether you will have a small or big baby!
