im having a slight moment of panic, i feel really sore at the top of my vagina (sorry just gunna say it blunt lol) not painful its just really sore, it gets more irritated after i have a wee. i no your all thinking water infection but thats definatley not the case, i was only tested yesterday and ive had them before so i no the signs, for me this isnt one of them.
im only worried coz im scared im gunna start bleeding or something because im feeling so sore and i cant understand why, im worried about bleeding because it happend to me at 25 weeks which lead to a 4 day stay in hospital so now at 32 weeks im still an obessive knicker checker lol.
when my cervix was checked, there was a slight graze over it, which i think is like an erosion but i wasnt really diagnosed with one. but now im worried the graze is irriated, and i no even if i do bleed from erosion its not serious but it still scares me so much when i bleed. do you think im worried over nothing? what could be the explanation for the sore feeling? its right up at the top like on my cervix or something. ive strained abit over the past few days as ive had problems with bowl movements and constantly feeling like i need to go without any luck, so i dont no wether this has caused a sore feeling?
sorry ive dragged this thread on abit! im just bored, wide awake, and wanted to make sure you have all the information lol
I've started to feel pressure on my cervix since yesterday so I'm hoping it means bubs Is engaged. Maybe your baby is pressing on your cervix and irritating that graze you say you have. Then again I don't think first time babies engage at 32 weeks. Sorry I wasint ant help xx
i think if its just irritated pain, and there isn't any bleeding...you should be okay. We're gonna have little aches and pains every now and then...gotta love being pregnant! lol. Like you said maybe you just over did it with straining. Update if something more happens.
As long as there is no bleeding and no discharge different to your usual then all is fine. Think of it this way, bub is 4lb + now and you have said he is head down, so all that pressure is going to leave you feeling achy and sore. Ive had the pain since 27 weeks but im just use to it now.
Also, if your constipated, that can make you reall sore as well. You need to drink more water and try and get things moving. I get period type cramps when i havnt been n they can last all day.
Also to a poster above, do u mean its to early for her 1st to engage? My first started at 28weeks and stayed in the pelvis. That also caused even more pressure
thanks everyone, its not pain at all, its sore, like a cut or something, ive had an increase in discharge over past few days so im wondering maybe this has caused it, still have it a little, sometimes its there and sometimes it isnt xx
I think its the stage ur at, the extra preassure and baby moving down into position etc can cause discomfort and extra discharge... i seen u commented on my post and the discharge sounds a little likes mines but the way ive put it everyone has been like GET IT CHECKED OUT and im now a bit like omg why whats wrong... but body changes at this time in preparation for the birth aqnd it sounds like ur body is just doing its job. If its not painful im sure its all fine xx
maybe your heavy discharge has given you an irritation there. sometimes that happens to me when i discharge heavily, my skin that has the most contact with it gets sore cos my skin gets very sensitive during pregnancy. if you are not very comfortable you can call your mw for peace of mind
im just fetching this back up to see if anyone online now has experienced this, im still feeling sore (not pain) at the top of vagina, makes me think its the cervix and i keep worrying im going to start bleeding coz i have an erosion. i dont want to ring the midwife because im not in pain and they cant really say anything over the phone. i have an appointment next week so ill say it then. but in the mean time, does anyone no what this could be? its not constantly sore, just feel it sometimes more than others. xx
