My wee sample always is ok (or so midwife tells me). I'm sure she mentioned Fri that my blood pressure was a little bit low compared to normal, but didnt mention anything else.
I had my bloods taken Friday.. but I have no idea what that was for.
I am eating and drinking normally. Though at weekends I drink less than weekdays as weekdays I'm constantly at the water machine.
Is it harmful to baby dizzy spells? Sometimes it just light headedness and then all of a sudden I'll get hit by a spell x
If by dizzy spells you mean like that light-headed feeling you get when you move too fast or get up to fast, then I think it's probably normal. I'm under consultant care at the moment for non-stop Braxton Hicks and at an appointment last week my blood pressure was really weird - went from 125/70 to 135/40 they did it again to check and she got 135/50. I asked if it was O.K and she said that it was a good thing to have low blood pressure in pregnany. I said that the really bad dizzy spells had come back and she said that as long as I wasn't in any danger of fainting or falling over then they are fine. I also read recently that your blood pressure drops really low during the thrid trimester. I wouldn't worry, but mention it at your next m/w appointment.
Thanks. What do braxton hicks feel like? Since late friday I am getting tons of pressure feelings on lower bump. But it feels tight and pressured. But I'm getting it constantly through out the day. Are they the hicks or is it baby pushing out or something? It feels asthough my skin is too tight and there isnt enough room lol... I'm paranoid my skin cant cope!
My Braxton Hicks fell like this: I start to get this really weird feeling and I don't know if I feel a little queazy or short of breath, then I get a tight/pressured feeling in the bottom of my bump. This normally makes me feel my belly and it's rock hard, but not round, in really weird bumpy shapes! It normally last 30-40 seconds. That's the worst they've been, but sometimes I can have them every few minutes for an hour or so and when I walk around etc it can feel like it is constant. Been having them like this since 22wks. GP, Hospital consultants, midwives have all been checking me out and have said that yes I have been having a lot more than most and from earlier than most, but as long as they don't come with fluid/blood loss, period type or lower back pain or become longer or stronger then they wont cause any harm, just discomfort.
At one point I was so bad I was thinking I was going to have to be signed off work for the rest of pregnancy, but it seems to be getting better now that I know not to stress at how many I'm gettins, as that makes them worse!
A lot of the time now I can also feel baby pushing and stretching in weird positions, so yours could equally be that too!
