Is my baby's position normally at 28 weeks?

I'm 28.5 weeks now and it's been about a few weeks that i feel my baby pushing really hard just from my belly bottom area and underneath. Is he supposed to lie around there now? His head is not down yet anyway, but he lies across my bump. AT night he sleeps all night i could feel that area is very hard too, it's like he's pushing it a lot.
I'm just worried that it will be a premature baby.

my LO has always been low. I've only ever felt him kick above my belly button line a couple of times. I think he just likes it down there.
He was head down at my 30 week appointment and has stayed there though he has turned from one side to the other (a head spin! - he's break dancing in there!!) in the last 2 weeks. I only know he's moved as my doc told me - I couldnt work out what bits are hands and which bits are feet!!

And in acual fact, although I can only feel baby below my belly button line he does in fact spread above. His head is down then his back goes up the right side of my bump, his bottom is at the top adn his legs go down to the left side, with his feet sticking out below belly button line . He's taking up virtually all the space now, and yours will be getting pretty big too. So even if you only feel baby low down chances are he/she is higher up too - just the wriggly bits are low down.

When I lie in bed I feel my baby is sideways as he's kicking the matress like mad, but in actual fact he's head down and curled into a ball. or a triangle!
I wouldnt worry at all.

Thanks for your reply. I felt my baby's movement upper my belly botton line a few times 2 or 3 weeks ago. and i know he's one of a kean break dancer too A couple of time i felt he moved from my left side to my right side ( near my hips ). And also at night when i lie on my left side, i could feel him kicking the mattress, but he's more comfortable when i lie on my right side cause he doesn't kick.
Wonder how big he is now ? My OH was 4 kilos when he was born and I'm an asian woman. Oh! nooo....

My LO still loves being down below my belly button, the majority of the movements I've felt have always been below my belly button.
