Is Every Labour Really Different??? Ladies that have had more than 1 baby

I'm asking the ladies that have had more than one baby. My 1st was about 10 days overdue but I went into labour on my own, 2nd ds induced 10 days overdue and 3rd ds again I was induced 10 days overdue.

So I guess I am asking am I setting myself up for disappointment in hoping this time will be different and this LO will come on time or at least I wont have to be induced?

ladies were you labours similar? Do you think given my history I will go over again ?

Sorry to sound pessimistic hun -but yeah probably.

My mw says that by the fourth time, the uterus can take a while to get going; once it does -it can be quick but takes a lot to get started -I am a 4th time mummy too, 10 days overdue, and nothing happening at all so far.

My first 20 odd hour labour- 40+3 spontaneous
my 2nd - 8 hr labour - 40+9 spontaneous
my 3rd 2 +half hr labour - 39+3 spontaneous
number 4 - never gonna get here -keep worrying now that my body ISN'T going to labour at all and I'll need a c -section boohoo -have my induction booked for Tues -I am dilated, effaced and membranes bulging so they reckon I will just need my waters broken for everything to start but I am getting dubious -why is it not just progressing now???? Cervix was very favourable at my sweep and my mw was convinced I'd be in labour that night or next day tops -but nothing!!!

oh yes!
1st labour- started of at 11pm managed snooze til 1am, regular contractions waters broke around 3am baby was born 10:14am (5 days early)

2nd labour woke at 7.45am feeling like i had bad constipation, DH made me phone hospital he said he had a funny feeling, so i phoned and was told to go the hospital for 9am to get checked out at antenatal clinic. got to the hospital for 9amish still just feeling like i needed a poo. MW checked me out i was 10cm! she popped my waters 3 pushed later he was born. (8 days early) i wasnt even in pain!

Now im expecting my 3rd im 2 days over!

OMG I want your second labour, sounds amazing. I hope number 3 makes his/her entrance really soon for you xx
