39 weeks groin pain - labor or just done too much??
Last night I got home from my mums and started cleaning like a mad woman, I bleached and scrubbed the bathroom, cleaned the nursery ready for the carpet to be fitted today cleaned all the kitchen and re-arranged all the furniture in the lounge, I felt fine when I was doing it but as soon as I stopped I felt awful, I think I may have overdone it?
I was getting some quite strong braxton hicks in bed and have this achey pain in my groin, I was hoping it was the start of labor but fell asleep and when I woke up this morning felt fine
Within the last hour or so the groin pain has come back, I also have an achey feeling in my lower back and the bottom of my bump but it's a constant thing so I know it's not contractions! It feels exactly like I used to before my period started.
What do you think?? Should I put my feet up and relax because I did way too much yesterday or get bouncing on my ball because this could be the start of something???
Sounds like a serious case of nesting ( i wish i was) Put your feet up and have a break, my book says we get energy spurts between 35 weeks and term but you still have to take it easy............ So hard when all im begging to do it to clean my skirting boards with sterilising fluid and cotton buds lol
Haha, I don't know if it is nesting, I don't feel a massive overwhelming urge to clean, I just felt quite energetic and decided to get some jobs done that I'd been wanting to do for ages!
I have been much more relaxed tonight, just got some ironing done so I will see how I feel in the morning, hopefully I might go into labor tonight - I still feel like my periods going to start, I have a constant ache in my bump and lower back, fingers crossed some contractions might start!!
I'll probably feel absolutely fine tomorrow and be really disappointed!
