When is full term really considered? 36 or 37 weeks?


Is it at the beginning of 36 weeks so 36w 1 day or the beginning of 37 weeks.....
I'm confused....


Sorry fixed the weeks....pregnant brain :P

Full term is classed at 37 weeks

Term is considered as 37 weeks...full term is 40 weeks!

It's when you hit 37 weeks not 27 weeks. It used to be 38 weeks a few years ago.

Do you mean hitting third tri? If so that's 27 weeks Hun, full term is 37 weeks

Hahaha sorry girls I meant to write 36-37.... Had a bit of a pregnant brain and wrote 26-27.

I just wansnt sure if you would count 36w1day as week 37....

Haha just noticed you edited the thread :P but yes as others have said it is 37 weeks and they reckon baby normally turns up anywhere between 38 and 42 weeks but they won't try and stop labour if it comes on after 37 weeks
