feel really stupid for asking but i know with the HIP grant (190) if your midwife signs and dates it before your 25 weeks they will not accept it....do they do the same with the sure start grant (500) i have seen a few people send theres off dead on 29 weeks so surely they got theres signed before that actual date....sorry for silly question or if its confusing to read xx

hiya hunni, some midwifes like to sign and date the forms a bit early as it can take ages for them to get sorted, im 35+2 and my sure start grant is only being paid to me 2morrow! as long as your EDD is on the form i doubt they will mind as long as you dont send it off way too early xx

i thought they had to be signed after 29 weeks otherwise they were invalid. i'm not sure though. mine was dated and sent at 31 weeks. xx

oh yeah, big baby spending spree for me 2morrow lol, i didnt get mine signed till 4 weeks as i didnt have my ante natal till 31 weeks, but my sister got her signed at about 26/27 weeks as she didnt have another ante natal near 29 weeks, and she still got hers perfectly fine as she didnt send it off until 2 days before she was 29 weeks, can you ask your midwife not to put the date on and put it on yourself when you get closer, or will ur midwife not allow ya to do it??? xx

yeh i could get her to sign it for the day i turn 29 weeks but ive signed it already for like when im 28 weeks or something and i dont even know why i did it haha

lol, my Oh signed ours the day he got it, the flaming bafoon just forgot to sign and had to have it sent back lol xx

nope thats me not putting it right again lol (coz im bloody tired) i meant to put 'OH filled our form in the day we got it and put that days date on it, he just forgot to sign it, sorry hunni xx
