I just lost my plug! (I think)

So I think I just lost my plug!

But it was clear...I think I remember reading a thread recently about how your plug can be clear - is this correct? Or am I getting excited for nothing?

I know it doesn't mean something is going to happen right away, but I'm excited that at least things are moving along!

It doesn't have to be tinged red or brown but You are meant to get increased discharge when you're nearing labour. I don't remember losing mine with my first so mine must have been clear. I did have to have my waters broken though so maybe it didn't happen until then.

i never actually lost a plug with either of my pregnancies. well, not that i noticed or know of. and with my 2nd my water broke and all that fun natural stuff. i want to lose my plug! LOL i'm jealous!

LOL don't be jealous yet! I'm not totally sure if it was my plug...I THINK it was, but I've never done this before, so I really have no idea what I'm talking about!

Hi if it helps I am in the same position I thought I had lost my plug but wasn't sure as it had been clear when I told my midwife about it today she seemed to think that it was the plug and that they can be clear if that makes any sense

from what i understand if it's bloody then it signifies labour is pretty close, if it isn't then it may still be a few days. i lost my plug on the saturday and it wasn't blood streaked at all, i went into labour the following wednesday. it's a definite sign labour is on the way! xx
