Feeling a bit worried

After getting back from my growth scan and apointment with the consultant. At my growth scan 4 weeks ago when I was 28+4 baby's tummy measure larger than the scale it should be. It was measuring a week ago. I had to go back 4 weeks later which was today. I'm currently 32+4 and had to have another growth scan. The measurements today came back all on target in the ranges they were suppose to be. I thought this was good news, but when I went to see the Dr he was a bit concerned because the baby's stomach has increased but not as it should have been. He thinks there might have been a wrong measurement taken last time. He has now booked me in to have CTG monitoring done one Saturday and again on Tuesday. I also have to go back for another growth scan next Thursday. I'm feeling a bit worried as I don't know why they are doing all this. I thought it was good news that the baby was within the range. I feel kinda upset right now. I'm trying not to worry.

I'm hoping measurments last time was wrong and everything is fine with baby. I know it will be... thinking positive!. Does anyone know what CTG stands for? I know they put a belt around your belly and monitor the baby's heartbeat is that correct??? is there anything else they are looking for?

UPDATE: Went for CTG monitoring on Saturday. I was hooked up to the machine for about 40 mins. They baby seemed happy from what the midwife said and everything looked good. I have to go back on tomorrow for the same thing, see the midwife on wednesday....then thursday another scan.

I'm missing my first Parentcraft Antenatal class because I have to go for this scan on thursday. Anyone been to these and can you tell me what I'll miss. I really wanted to attend these classes as I'm a first time mum, but now I can't go to the 1st one.
