Im so excited..I know this isnt baby related but its about my cravings....

My husband is so amazing, I always say, but this time he has toped the cake...

I have been wanting cupcakes for about two weeks. He has bought me atleast cupcakes on three different occassions from various shops..and even one from a top bakery but I have thrown them all away after eating only a small amount out due to the quality of them (thats the problem when your a trained chef...your standards are very very high)

So I gave up on the quest for cupcakes and I didnt have cupcake tins or the paper holders to make my own..and couldnt be bothered with buying them..as I refuse to buy cheap bakeware.
So three days ago two boxes arrived to my house and I wasnt allowed to open them..they sat there and I had to stare at them...so I put them out in the entryway so I couldnt see them anymore ..they were driving me crazy!!

I nearly forgot about them until I woke up this morning and realised they werent there as I walked through the entryway to get to the livingroom..then I relised the house smelt like sweet lemon..
I thought: great my husband is trying to make me breakfast again..bless his heart he tries....mind you after two attemps of becomming a chef years ago himself he settled on just being an architect!! hahaha

I had to get my head together to eat his pancakes or whatever he was making and say they are extra special even if they arent this time!!
Well I was so surprised when he came out with a big plate of CUPCAKES...
and then another big plate with a different flavour of cupcakes..

I thought..where in the world did these come from...because I could look at them and tell they werent store bought and buy the smell of the house I knew they were homemade..then after a further inspection I could tell they werent made from that fake icing or from just icing sugar and milk or something simple like that..these were top quality made cupcakes and even wonky looking..PERFECT!!

Then I took a bight and I nearly fell on the floor
SERIOUSLY...they were that bloody good...I was so godsmacked because these were probablly the best cupcakes I had ever tasted in my life..no exageration!!! Which is a VERY BIG statement!!
He told me how he searched for two days for the best recipies for these cupcakes and even made the special coffee syrup that was running through the middle of one of them!! WOW...he bouth all the materials and bought these really nice bakeware for cupcakes and cute pink cupcake holders!!

He says ...see im not completely incapable!! I said..I know thats why im so surprised!!
Then he did all the dishes himself!

Anyway sorry for the long post but as you can see I am so excited!! Gotta love the man!!

awwwww bless his heart! I am chuffed when mine brings me home a double decker from the shop LOL!!

aww he is so sweet, mine is kinda the same, no matter what it is i am after he gets it for me, even around the home, i hardly have to lift a finger aymore (which can be annoying sometimes) but at least we got OH's that care and love us xx
