Always thirsty and Floral smelling pee?

Hi Ladies and bumps!

Right the past few weeks or so I have been really thirsty and want to do nothing but drink. I mean with a meal I can have 4 drinks, and when I pee all through out the day my pee sort of smells sweet/floral, I havnt really been drinking juice or coke, Its mainly water.... any ideas? xx

i went through a stage of this in my pregnancy drink,drink and drink thats all i did my mouth was dry constantly, cant remember my wee smelling different though i didnt take much notice, i did think i was developing gestational diabetes but wore of after about a week, baby may need the fluids hun just drink up, if u r concerned though give the midwife a ring Xx

Sounds like it might be an idea to get them to check your blood sugar levels. Having a high sugar level makes you pee like a racehorse as the sugar in your urine pulls extra fluid out of your body which in turn makes you thirsty like there is no tomorrow.
Hopefully it will be nothing, but you're better to get it ruled out.

I had my bloods done last week and not heard anything back, so no news is good news! Ill mention it to the midwife at my next appt!
