I did at 29 weeks. I'm going up the frigging wall with boredom, I can't imagine what I'd be like if I didnt have the net to keep me company.

My hubby and I relocate to America in January and I haven't worked since then, so have had to find ways to keep myself busy. Since getting further along in the pregnancy I am quite limited to what to do, so feel your pain!

I have got a few projects on the go - am knitting a blanket, just finished knitting a teddy, have also got a cardigan pattern to knit when I'm done with blanket. I don't have a sewing machine over here so I've found no-sew patterns online and am creating some bunting for nursery ( http://www.redtedart.com/2010/04/02/...o-sew-bunting/ ) and am then going to have a go at a couple of pillows ( http://knol.google.com/k/how-to-make...ithout-sewing# ).

Oh and someone on here did an oragami butterfly mobile (http://www.babyandbump.com/pregnancy...nursery-6.html - if you go down to peacelovebaby's nursery.

The utube video she used: that I'm going to have a go at making.

Someone else has made some felt butterflies ( http://www.babyandbump.com/pregnancy...ursery-34.html check out Jolene's post) that are lovely, so might have a go at them too !

I have just finished a jigsaw I was doing and have also been reading the twilight series of books. I have also bought myself the first series of Glee to watch, and of course watch a lot of TV! Soon I'll be doing our xmas shopping online and starting to get xmas cards written.

Hope there's something in there that helps!

Orrrrr... You could make a faces book for baby. Apparently they LOVE to look at faces, so take a photos of everyone who will see baby regularly - you, partner, nanas and grandads etc. and pets too. Then print them and put into a photo album and just tape it up so the photos don't come out.
Good idea xx

It would be great if I could do lots of stuff, but should be resting. Would love to go horseriding or sailing LOL.

Might try and go for a swim at my old pool xx

oh god you lot put me to shame! I detested my job so shipped out early and 27 weeks taking 2 weeks leave and then onto maternity (I plan to work from home after rather than return so shouldn't affect time with baby too much) I am only on week 3 but I'm loving being at home! lol. Getting lots of tv watching, baking and cleaning done, shopping trips and catching up with friends and enjoying time with my OH when she's off work which is varying days off. People said to me oh you'll be so bored, but I've still got 101 things to get done before the baby arrives including work for my own business, the babies room and of course Christmas shopping, I dont think it would actually be possible to have continued working and get all this important suff and tv watching done lol

I guess if your not allowed to go out and do much it must get a bit boring, have you borrowed tv series box sets off friends to watch? Personally I'd embrace the opportunity for some online retail therapy and call people up to catch up with old friends etc for house visits, I'm sure they'd be more than happy to come say hi and enjoy a cuppa and some biscuits for an hour!

x

since i've been off I've
washed baby clothes, bedding and put final touches on nursery organizing
packed all our bags for the big day
painted wood letters of the baby's name and hung them above her changing table. so cute!!
bought several things for the house that i thought would make it cozier (nesting) so basically i've been running all over town
went to two appointments
met up with some friends for ice cream
made a few pieces of jewelry
watched a movie
made some yummy chowder
sent out a few thank you cards

you know, just the basic getting the house ready, checking off some things from my to do list, getting things perfect for baby to come

today i'm a little bored, but i'm glad for it. i've actually been pushing myself too hard. today i reorganized my husband's and my closet (long overdue project) but mostly i'm just laying around, thinking about eating some of that chowder, taking a nap and then if i have more energy making my grandma's bday present and doing some yoga

Ive still got a week to go before maternity leave, but have DS so it wont really be the same, but I love online shopping, looking for bargains etc. so could spend all day online lol!

Im in the process of Christmas ideas and thinking of putting together a memory box etc.
Argos do reasonably cheap craft box things, like cards and scrapbooking which could be nice to do for the baby.
