Is anyone else suffering from really intense leg ache when you're trying to go to sleep? It's awful. Keeps me awake. I sometimes get it during the day too. Anyone know what causes it? I used to get it a bit when I was due on my period so I presume it's something to do with hormones but it was never as bad as this.
Iv had cramp a few times during the night in my right leg and woke up screaming in pain, OH has had to massage it to ease the pain, normaly caused through stretching the leg during sleep when your body is asleep and it spasms, not sure if your is the same, best check with mw.
I get cramps at night if I stretch my legs and the best way to deal with it is up your water/fluid intake, increase your vit B, calcium and folic acid as well as magnesium.
My m/w suggested all these and it really does work. I just use pregnancy safe vit sups (I get the vit B and folate from an slightly increased dose of prenatal and take a separate additional calcium/magnesium supp)
