Fluid from nipples before birth?

Hi all, i just wanted to ask a question, i had my twins 9yrs ago and honestly dont remember my nipples leaking before i gave birth, but afterwards they did, and with this pregnancy they were sore up until the start of third trimester and they have been fine, no pain, but last night i noticed the dried up ends of my nipples and when i brushed it away holding my nipple, a clear fluid came out and i was horrified lol, it wasnt milk maybe that collosum that comes first, has anyone else had this as i thought it not suppose to happen until baby arrived, and mine have started to get a bit tender recently.

Hey! Dont worry...thats totally normally! Ive been getting it since about 29 weeks. Sometimes you start leaking colustrum before birth, sometimes after birth. Either way is normal. The only time you have to worry is if its a strange color, like green. Clear (and yellow I believe) are completely normal!! :-D

Im the same have been leaking alot since about 32 weeks if not before i wake up in the nite with my sheet wet from where ive been laying... I dont leak during the day tho strange x

Aw thats good thanks alot girls was begining to think something was wrong, maybe i have been to, but not noticed cos i wear padded bras, thats put my mind at ease, cheers

Mine have been leaking for around 4 weeks now. Not all the time but if I sit leaning forward it usually happens - I notice more when I'm in my pj's.

The worst it was was a couple of weeks ago. I was kept in hospital overnight after a bleed and my top was soaking!! I had to wear my dressing gown the whole time to cover it!!

Think it might have been to do with the fact I could hear the newborns in the next ward.

DH thinks its hilarious and takes great pleasure in pointing out my 'wet patches'

I've been leaking for about a month. Mostly it's clear but sometimes it's white and milky.
