Am I being selfish??

Im due new years eve. I have a 2 year old and the plan has always been we go to my inlaws in middlesborough for 2 weeks. Now, I had choletstais when I was pregnant with my LO and was told there is a 80% chance I'd get it again. Been tested a few times and nothing. Now, if I did have it I'd be induced at 37-39 weeks so would still go up (hubby drives). If I havent got it, I said I still want to go up as I really dont want to take Christmas away from my LO as this year she seems to understand it and dont want her to feel pushed out cause a new baby has come along. I want to make it the biggest deal for her.

I have a MW appointment at 31 weeks and will talk to them about this and tell them what hospital I would be giving birth to up there.

Am I being selfish?

I dont think u r huni its whatever u feel comfortable with and uv also made it clear u dont want ur daughter pushed aside. I personally would do the same thing x

wanting the best for everyone is by no means selfish!! you would be in safe reach of a hospital and are monitoring your health for you and the baby. AND you want your other little one to have the best christmas possible. i think it all sounds wonderful honestly.

Thank you girls. We'd travel during the night as then it'll only be a 3.5-4 hr drive and I'll have my MIL there who is just brilliant, and will do anything so I wont have to move! My LO is very good at understand about the baby but when he's born, thats a different matter. I just cant help but feel selfish and that when I tell the MW this at 31 weeks, her response will just be a negative one!
