Anyone else just quite frankly had enough of being pregnant??? RANT!

Sorry for the long rant!

I've seriously had enough of being pregnant now and have like 11 weeks to go!!!

I had Obs Cholestatis with my LO and was told I would be very likely to get it again. SO its basically the waiting game! I've had horrendous itchy palms and soles (main symptom) for about 6 weeks now. I've been tested numerous times and my bile levels come back as normal. I got tested again on Monday and was told by the MW she'd ring on wed with the results. Well, I got a phonecall from another MW who told me the levels were normal. I said 'Ok, I guess thats a good thing but something needs to be done about this itching as its getting too much now'. She seemed like she really didnt care. My mum reckons it was probably a student MW who rang up as when they're learning/training, they dont really know what to say.

This itching is stopping me from eating and sleeping. I'm surviving on like 3 hours a night! And still have a lively toddler to deal with.

Yesterday I think I had just had enough as I felt no one seems to care. I have a wonderful friend who listened and that really helped, she actually stopped me from crying and we were only texting! My mum said she'd take the LO for a few days a week to give me rest as she's been made redundant so in about 3 weeks time, she's more then happy to do so. That took a little of the pressure off but my LO isnt the problem. She is so well behaved, I hardly have any problems with her. Its the sleeping getting to me. I've tried Priton for itching- done nothing! Using Aqueous Cream religiously- that helps for like an hour.

I've just seriously had enough now and dont want to be pregnant anymore

Please tell me I'm not the only one feeling like this...

I can understand why you are so fed up, its hard enough being pregnant without not getting any sleep! Can they give you a different antihistamine?

No, its just tablets in general making me sick. As soon as they go down, EVERYTHING comes up. I think they only prescribe Prioton x x x

have you tried oatmeal baths for temporary relief from the itching? i've heard good things about them.

you could maybe just soak your hands/feet in if it's just your palms and soles of your feet that are itching? hope it gives you a little relief, sounds like you need it
