HELP...Worried :( (quite long, sorry)

I'm 35+4 & felt a small pop yesterday.

Since then I have been continually wet - having to change my liners regularly. It's definitely not wee (TMI I know) but i'm not having any contractions - feeling uncomfortable when sitting in some positions & feeling a slight tightening at times (similar to weak period pains). I'm also VERY hot continually.

I haven't been to hosp or spoken to midwife as i'm worried they'll admit me. And to top things off work is really stressing me out & my OH is away with work until tomorrow so I don;t want to worry him!

Does anyone have any advice?

x

Please make the call - you'd only be admitted for good reason, and the good reason would be that you need medical assistance for yourself and your baby!

It does sound like your waters could have gone - please call your midwife or labour ward as you need to be checked to make sure baby is doing ok (and there's a chance of infection if left for too long).

Hope you're ok, try not to stress out too much xxx

You absolutely need to be seen hun.

If your waters have gone at this stage you'll need steroids to mature babys lungs as it's still a bit early. And also antiobiotics to prevent infection in baby too.

Keep us updated xxx

Please call your midwife, if your waters have gone you need to be seen and admitted. I know you are scared, but its for the best for you and bubba x
