yesterday i noticed my hands just went dry and very sore and itchy on the top! it happend a couple of weeks ago but just went, its really irritating me, when i spread my fingers the skin feels really tight and the tops of my hands have gone very red and feel rough and dry, i cant see me being alergic to the soap i use or anything because i havent changed anything, its really odd! anyone any ideas on what it could be? xx
Most likely a kind of eczema, probably related to the weather. I get dry skin at certain times of the year. I have it at the moment, it's so itchy and dry! I got some doublebase cream from the docs to help keep them moisturised which I should probably put on more than I do. I just wash my hands so much though so always end up putting it on and washing it off again. Hope it gets better soon. It's a pain, I know. x
Hi, I've had the same thing. I mentioned it to my midwife and she said that it was dry skin caused by baby taking all the nutrients it needs and not leaving enough for me. I've been making sure I moisturise more often and it seems to have cleared up. Hope yours does soon!
