Im now 27 weeks pregnant with my second bubba and have started to get a really uncomfortable pelvis when i stand up (right up the front!) i didnt have this with my first until i was around my due date and very big (Joe was 2 weeks late) Ive also had a very sore tailbone when ive been sitting for a while - I work in an office so getting up and going for a walk isnt an option but they are getting a softer chair for me.
Anyone else had this so early?!. I thought these sorts of ailments only occured in ur last few weeks?
I was hobbling about last night, could barely walk, and I was getting lots of what felt like kicks in the cervix too. So much better today though, maybe it can just depend on what position they have wriggled themselves in to?
I had a very sore tailbone from about 12 weeks, ended up buying a cushion with a cutout bit at the back so my tailbone is not resting on the chair. (i work in an office too so lots of sitting at my desk). I cured the tailbone thing and now have pubic bone pain, feels like a burning pain right on my pubic bone, have been diagnosed with SPD and seeing a physio tomorrow. It is bearable as long as I do nothing which is just no good, went for a short walk yesterday and the old pain flared up again. I think that SPD can affect different pregnancies, from what I can gather you can have it with one and not with a subsequent one. this is my first so not really sure on that point. if it gets worse tell your midwife they may need to arrange physio if it gets really bad.
