Hubby has made me really grump now

So i've had 2weeks annual leave and today marks the first official day of my maternity leave.
Hubby is working from home at the moment and keeps asking 'what are your plans for the day' and earlier he kindly reminded me not to forget to get dressed today! he says it's so I keep the day time and night time separate which I understand the principle but my sleep pattern hardly falls into day and night at the moment. I've not even been up for 2hours yet and it's passed lunchtime.

I just wish he was at the office instead of at home, so I didn't feel the constant pressure to be doing things! When I do decide I can do the washing or cooking ro something, he comes out with 'i think you're doing too much' I can't bloody win.

I don't think it's just us who have the hormonal mood swings lol! Try not to let it get to you (easier said than done I realise). You know whaat feels right for you and that's the important thing. x

OMG!!! I am totally with you!!! I have been on annual leave for the 2 weeks as well and my maternity leave starts officially today! The past 2 weeks I have been under house arrest! Im not allowed to leave the house unless my partner is with me. He is worried that I will go into labour at any point. I have several calls or texts a day to ensure I am ok!

Today, my partner is off ill (man flu) great timing! and he looks at me in a way of "what are you doing?" , "sleeping again" I have got dressed this morning and I have tidied up the best I can and now Im resting enjoying this forum, but then he's just come down as I try to load the dishwasher and said "what the hell you doing, you aren't meant to be doing things?"

Its driving me up the wall!!!!!

Im hoping he will calm down once bump arrives!

I feel for you as its just like me.. out of interest, is this your 1st??

Yeah it's our first. Just fed up of the mixed signals. It's like he has a mental list of things he thinks are ok for me to do and a list of no no's. Quite often they are different to my list!
I feel like I need some time just sitting on the forums and googling baby stuff, just to mentally prepare myself iykwim, I think it's just as important as the physical preparation.

Its our 1st child too. The list I have in my head is defo different to my partners list of things I can do. Just simple things! Ironing, loading the dishwasher, hoovering.... The thing I miss the most is the travelling out on my own. I can understand his point with the travelling to a certain degree but its frustrating but I know I can't change the way he feels about this point.

Men! lol I guess we are lucky that they are doing stuff as I know loads of ladies that aren't so lucky, but its always good to rant about them

Lol! My hubby texts me saying to have a rest so I say am going to try sleep. Then when I don't text him for a few hours I get a text or a call to make sure I am ok as he hasn't heard from me for a while and he's hoping I am ok and haven't gone into labour alone. Lol.
