Hey hun! This happened to me at 37 weeks and 5 day's
Bright red spotting on a pad, Not a lot but It continued a little so I called the hospital and they asked me to come in to be checked, Turned out they couldn't find the cause, They put me on a monitor to make sure that baby was ok and she was just perfect! They also did a smear test witch was fine and did some swabs for infections witch was also fine.
Have you had sex at all? Sometimes that can irritate your cervix, I am sure everything is fine hun but call your MW to be sure!
Unfortunately I can't put it down to sex. The thought of LO in there weirds hubby out so I only get to indulge occasionally and last time was about two weeks ago.
I have been a bit uncomfortable down there for a day or two so infection is a possibility. Didn't think much of it as haven't noticed a difference in discharge or anything like that but I guess it could be.
