Todays was the worst, she was thrashing around uncontrollably, I was worried she was tangled in the cord or something! But this evening movements are normal again. Being pregnant is so stressful!!
xxxxxxx
I've had two scans in the past 2 weeks and everything 'looks' fine.
My baby also does it a lot when im sitting or laying but the worsttt is at night. She wakes me up thrashing around and sometimes it will feel like a big roll then whole body twitch.. roll whole body twitch really repetitive over and over. I have been to the labor ward and they say her heartrate is fine and send me home. I just want my baby to get here safe so if there is something, they can help her! While shes inside me, no one will listen! Its like they don't believe me or don't care. Its starting to really depress me because It just absolutely does not feel right
I totally understand! I just want my baby out so that its not all responsibility and someone else can help me worry about her
I get EXACTLY what your describing and I have been feeling really depressed about it, convinced something is wrong but my FS said everything is fine (except thats shes only measuring 26 weeks but thats another worry).
I just really want to enjoy this pregnancy but so hard xx

My best friend had the exact same thing with her 3rd baby, and she was freaked out...until I told her what it probably was...and sure enough when he came out he stretched his legs, and they were shaking...its normal. I'm sure everything is fine hun...but if you're still worried you can always go back to the doctor.
Thanks for your reply. I chalked it up to this in the beginning. And i would think it was this if it happened every once in a while. But these episodes last for 30 min at least and come in groups. and its not quite shaking.. more like thrashing and jerky twitches.
I really hope its nothing, but it doesn't feel like nothing especially when she wont play back when i rub her or poke her like she usually does.

Im glad my doctor tells me everything is fine, but seeing that she is the right size and her heart is beating as it should just doesn't completely calm me. I'm so stubborn, but i tried to just believe the doctors and can't cus they wont explain to me what it could be. I have read so many stories online on the subject where the child did come out only to be having seizures. The women would tell the doctors they were feeling this.. and doctors said everything was fine.. then the baby would develop issues. I need to stop reading on the internet but that is the only place i know to look since doctors cant explain it to me. I heard measuring a couple weeks off isn't too much. That would terrify me as well though. Im sorry you have that worry. My girl used to measure big and now measures within a week small of her due date. i think 19 percentile or so.

yea my LO's hiccups feel more like a rythmic little bounce or vibration. She gets them about 3 times a day usually

Sorry you're going through this. My LO does something similar (definitely not hiccups) and the first time it happened I was horrified. I thought to myself HER CORD IS CHOKING HER! and was a nervous wreck. It happens to me everyday for the last couple weeks and I get no reponses when I poke or push at her when she's doing it. It's unsettling and if you are having a hard time with it there is NO PROBLEM with getting checked out. You know your body and you know your LO.

Ive had movements like this, the first time it happened was a couple of weeks ago and honestly my first thought was "Jeeeze, is he having a fit?" and I started to worry. I worried for days afterwards as well, convinced it was a fit, it just felt so similar.

But Im pretty sure it is 'normal' even if it feels odd.

I get this too daily and sometimes two or three times, i think it is the baby stretching and then vibrating kinda, from reading posts on here it is very common and most babies do it, its probably something to do with there neurological system think we have to keep inmind that the are forming not formed yet so they are bound to have weird movements that you wouldnt associate with "cooked baby"

but like the rest of the posts if you are that worried you need to express this to the MW and let them try to put your mind at rest XX

Sounds like the doctors and midwives have tried to do everything to reassure you about this, why can't you believe them?

Lots of girls on here are saying they have had similar and it's normal. Yes, we can't work out *exactly* what it is, but thats often the case when baby is in the womb.

Please try and relax and enjoy the last bits of your pregnancy. I panic all the time about movement, lack of it, too much of it etc but if the doctors are saying everything looks fine WHICH IT DOES, then there's nothing more you can do. Please start to believe them!
