My midwife told me, that they allow for 20. Meaning if your bp to start with *at the beginning of pregnancy*, was like 120/70 they would allow up to 120/90 (example), although mines was 120/80 to start with, and she said if it gets closer to the 100 then it needs to be checked up on.
I had mine taken a few days ago and the bottom number came up at 104. So she did it again and got 98 then again and got 87. The week before it was done and wasnt dropping below the mid 90's. She is only ever worried if it doesnt drop the more she does it
