Shaking and throwing up!!

So I just woke up feeling very ill. I tried to hold it down but I couldnt. I just vomited and now my hands will not stop shaking.

I dont feel very well at all. I dont think im going to throw up again, or at least i dont have the urge to...

Should I wait this out till the morning and call the doc if I throw up anymore?? Or should I call now?

I had a horrible sickness bug right at the start of my pregnancy (when I was only about 9 weeks). I threw up loads and couldn't keep off the toilet! I also had a temperature so was told to take paracetamol and sip on rehydration sachets (although I couldn't keep those down for 24 hours). My Dr told me that I would suffer worse than normal because any reserves your body has go straight to the baby but baby will be fine.

That's also how I get when my blood sugar gets too low. I've noticed in pregnancy my blood sugar levels have become unpredictable. Unlike diabetes, a hypoglycemic attack can happen to anyone, especially with the lo's sucking up all our nutrients. I would definitely keep an eye on it & maybe go to the er if it gets too bad but it also wouldn't hurt to attempt to eat something. This happened to me when I woke up yesterday. I was shaking uncontrolably, sick as a dog. First I made myself take sips of chocolate milk to get my sugars up a little to help battle the nausea, then eat something sugary as best you can. If that helps, make sure to top it off with something with protein & carbs to keep it up. I'm not saying this is probably what is going on with you, but it's definitely something I struggle with & it doesn't hurt to try.

I would go in to get checked out, probably a bug but that can lead to dehydration which isn't good for either of you
