measuring 4 weeks bigger!

At my doc appt last week I was measuring at 35 weeks and I was 31 weeks. Doc said baby is head down but that I had a lot of amniotic fluid. He didn't schedule a ultrasound or anything but I do see him every 2 weeks so we'll see what I am measuring at next appt. Even when I had a 9lb 9oz baby I only measured big after 38 weeks and never 4 weeks bigger and never this early on. I have been measuring 3-4 weeks ahead for the past 3 appts! I am getting concerned. Anyone else with this experience?

Yes I was told this at 26 weeks but luckily I had a hospital appointment 2 weeks later where I asked for a scan and it was right on size!
Fundal height isn't very accurate. Try not to worry though I know it's hard especially when you have big babies. My last one was 9lb 6oz thus the freaking out for me!! Ask for a scan to find out for sure. Hth.

I was measuring over 3 weeks bigger, then two weeks and this week it's slowed to only one week bigger, so I'm not having a growth scan now. I was a good 2/3 weeks bigger in last pregnancy and it was all fluid. MW says baby gas plenty of fluid this time too. Hopefully yours will slow down too hun and you've just got plenty of fluid :-)

MY baby measures 3 weeks bigger according to growth scans (since 18 weeks on) and my uterus only measures a week bigger. I know I have lots of fluid as well. I think the only thing they really do when your measuring so much bigger is monitor the baby, the placenta, the fluid level, and if things look bad, induce.

I've measured 3/4 weeks ahead the last 3 appts but at 34 weeks I now only measure 1 week ahead - they were worried she was big now there worried she's slowing down too much!

Cant win haha!

I am 28 weeks and measuring 5weeks bigger and have done my last 2 mw apts I asked about a scan as my last lo was only 5lb 5 so the thought of anythi g bigger is scaring me lol but she said I've got a scan at 34 so will let me just wait for that

I asked what you happen if at that scan baby was 5 weeks infront and she said they will arrange either induction or c sectio. Asap depending on size and I said of right so I'll be have g him that week and she just said possibly and before I had chance to freak out she was like don't get worked up wait till scan!! And virtually threw me out lol

As you cab imagine I am dreading scan now lol

try not to be to worried. Its very inaccurate way to measure baby. Some measure 4 weeks ahead and have a small baby and some measure small and have a big baby. Also you could carry a lot of water. kacey was alwasy 4 weeks ahead and weighted 8lb9 at birth

I was worried bc last week my dr told me I was measuring 33 at 28 wks, so she ordered a sonogram for my next appt in 2wks. I'm hoping everything is normal, I would be so terrified if it turned into needing a c-section or something....then again to be prepared for it now instead of at the last minute would be good i guess! lol
