Been for my 32 week appointment today with midwife and when I did a sample I saw bits of White bits in my wee sort of like skin, now I've recently just started suffering from hemaroids too so it's all abit uncomfortable down there my midwife never said anything too me about them and I forgot to ask!
I have little white floaties too and have never been diagnosed with any UTIs. I haven't been worried at all about it, just figured it's natural. I don't normally stare at my wee so don't have a clue what it looks like normally! If in doubt though always ask, even if just to give you peace of mind.
Yes it's unlikely to be anything to worry about. Pee often has discharge, skin etc in it from the area around your urethra opening. If it is great big chunks of white it is probably protein and would indicate some serious kidney issues and would very much show up in the dip plus you'd be in agony most likely!
To do a clean sample you should be clean when you do it, hold your bits kind of open so your pee doesn't go on the skin. Pee a little to clear any accumulated stuff and then take the sample from the middle part of your flow. As a pregnant woman, this is pretty much impossible! So instead, just don't worry!
