I wouldn't stress! As long as you are eating healthily then your body will store what it wants. Its pretty much out of our control, we are producing so much oestrogen that some of what we eat will be stored as fat, regardless! Evolution has insured that the breast feeding mothers will have a store of surpless calories.
I'm just over 28 weeks and I've gained 23lbs - about a stone less than I had gained at this point in my last pregnancy - not done anything different - apart from I'm carrying a girl this time... and running around after a 16 month old!
There is no set weight gain that is right.. of course there are recommendations... but I have gained 54 lbs, and all has checked out and the weight gain hasn't caused any problems. So even with all of the weight all is good, everyone is different.
