I was told to start EPO at 36 weeks.
My "pregnancy tea" has RLT in it and I've been drinking it a good chunk of the pregnancy. RLT helps strengthen your uterus- EPO acts as prostaglandin/ has prostaglandin and helps to ripen your cervix.
I have the capsuls of EPO- I was told to take 1 or 2 a day from 36 weeks and up it to 3 to 4 by 38. I also insert 1 capsule a night into my vagina so the oil gets directly there (wear a pad to bed- it leaks out)

I'm taking raspberry leaf tea.

I started with 1 cup a day from 32 weeks, then 2 cups a day from 34 weeks, and then i'll do 3/4 cups from 36 weeks.

Evening primrose oil i'm buying some this week. You can start taking them from 34 weeks and then up the amount at 36 weeks and also insert them vaginally. Apparently starflower oil has more of the "stuff" thats in evening primrose oil and some ladies take that instead.

This is a general rule though. Some ladies drink the tea throughout pregnancy and some get told not to drink until 37 weeks. I think it's about you using your common sense. I had a few days of quite painful period pains and cramps last week so i stopped drinking the tea for a few days just in case lol

I started on one a day of RLT from 35 weeks and upped it one a week till 37 weeks and was then on 3 a day and i have stuck to 3. 2 capsules and one cup of tea, but the capsules I have are really strong 750mg so they are more than others.

I was told not to start on EPO until 37 weeks as it has been known to induce labour but I have just been taking one a day.

The midwife at ante natal didn't know about EPO and just said with RLT that they have had some girls who they have had to tell to stop taking them as they kept going in with false alarms and twinges so just be careful of that :-) I don't notice anything though xx

My doctor told me not to drink RLT until I was 36 weeks, so that's what I did with my last pregnancy.

ive been taking RLT in tea form sine 34 weeks and have upped to three cups a day now im 38 weeks. Ive noticed BH are strong but not painful - they just make my tummy go like a bowling ball!.

Been taking EPO since 34-35 weeks starting with one 500mg cap a day and have recently upped this to two caps a day. Ive heard some taking 3-4 caps a day and then inserting vaginally when they go to bed but i dont fancy that! lol!. not sure if it has done anything though.
