Ouch! Why does SPD only hurt while lying down?

I have mild SPD, well actually I'd say I only have SPD when I'm lying down! No pain when sitting or standing or walking only when lying down??? Turning over in bed is near on impossible and even moving my legs hurts? :-/ I use a dream genie pillow plus other supportive pillows.

I don't look forward to going to bed at all anymore

Help!!! Xxx

Ive got spd (self diagnosed!) and the hip pain, not sure which is worse. My hipsare so sore in bed it's unreal,I've laid down a folded duvet on my bed so I'm laying on that now . Itshelped a bit, they're still sore but I don't feel like thematress is digging into my skin now! The spd hurts when I move in general!! It's worse when I've been still like asleep or sat down, feels like my bodys set like a statue!! What's worse is my legs feel like they've done a marathon workout but I no there no slimmer with the pain I'm feeling!

I have SPD and its hurts 24/7, I find the most comfy positon is having my legs slightly propped up but to be honest the pain never fully goes away

i was diagnosed with SPD at around 28 weeks - its horrid. for me it was when i got up and tried to move my left leg to walk. Turning over in bed was bad too - a pain right in the middle of my pelvis as if i'd just been impaled.

I was given a support belt and crutches by the physio and advised not to lift DS, not to pick toys up, not to iron while standing, keep knees together as much as possible, be extra lady like when getting out of the car and bath, not to carry anything up the stairs and rest.

its been agony and only just very recently it has subsided a little but midwife told me it wont go until after baby born.

x
