Just after a little advice if anyone has any.
After I got out of the shower last night my 'downstairs' was really swollen and feels really dry, its still really painful today. Anyone know what it. Could be?
Are you guys finding that its also quite itchy there too?? I have been suffering severe itchiness for the past few weeks and i keep telling myself to ask at my obgyn but im kinda scared....well im 39 weeks tomorrow so i NEED to find out on monday at my appointment, just incase its something that could spread
But its also swollen at times and extremely dry
I had this show up just over a week ago and was in agony (as I had scratched at the itch - big mistake!) so went to the GP where they swabbed it and sent it off. She said it was thrush, but I didn't believe her at all as it didn't feel like any kind of thrush I'd had in the past. I started using antifungal cream on the outside anyway as that was the advice and it turns out it WAS thrush. I started applying it really thickly since then and it has nearly gone now - thank godness!!
I hope it gets sorted out for you hun, I'd definately get it checked out if I were you. Good luck! x
Yeah I've had swollen bits on and off. They do get sore and itchy too because I have heavy watery discharge and I get bad irritation and nothing helps except thrush cream so I'd recommend that if it's driving you crazy! It's not like thrush I've had pre pregnancy (no horrible discharge etc) but the cream does help get rid of it. I was suffering so much and tried everything, feminine wash and wipes and other creams to help with the dryness, even my bio oil. Nothing helped except the thrush cream! also walk around without knickers on whenever u can.
Don't have an itch but have been using thrush cream anyway in the hopes it might offer some relief but it hasn't yet. I have been using pads due to heavy discharge though so think they may have irritated my 'moomoo' seems much better today thank god x
