i'm 29 weeks and my baby is head down and engaged already. When i was pregnant with my son he engaged also around 7 months, so this didn't surprise me, but it can be uncomfortable x

What do you mean by engaged? There's still alot of time left no?

I don't know if mine is head down as my midwife appointment's next week, but it feels like the baby is just on my right side because I can see my bump more fuller on the right and it feels emtpy on the left side. Is that normal?

Mine was head down at 20wk scan, breech at 32wk scan and still breech at 37wks. The truth is baby could turn several times and you may never even know about it, LO has plenty of room to move at the minute. The statistics say only about 4% of babies are in a breech position at 37wks after this time it's very unlikely that baby will turn again due to lack of space so I wouldn't worry about baby being head down or not until then Hun, the mw won't but LO is more than likely gonna be head down anyway, you only need worry if your found to be one of the 4%

Engagement is when the babies head descends into the pelvis. Some babies don't engage until labour starts, this is more common in mums who have already have children but does happen in 1st time mums too. 1st time mums tend to engage earlier.

And don't worry about the shape of your bump, mine is decidedly lopsided, it's just the way he's sat, it's even weirder when you can see lumps shifting under the surface.

Also yes there is plenty of time for both engagement and movement, it's only when you hit full term it becomes unlikely but not impossible.

My baby has been head down for a good month or so now. I'm almost 34 weeks and I believe at my 26 week she was head down. Hasn't moved since as I can feel her feet on the left and her back and booty on the right.
