It sounds like your anxiety is coming out in your dreams. It happens to me, too! I don't think it means that you're afraid of having an ugly baby (unless that's the way you interpret it), it's just a normal outlet for anxiety. My friend dreamed that she had a giant snake slithering through her house and it had her son's head!

Regarding the other direction of this thread, I have two dogs, both of which are mutts. One of them has a snaggle-toothed underbite, unruly wiry hair, bug eyes, a long body with short legs, and paws that turn out. Her tail is too long and crooked, and one ear stands up while the other flops down. People call her cabrita, little goat. I think she is absolutely adorable, and when she wiggles excitedly when I come home I don't give a crap what she looks like because I adore her.

I know that dogs aren't babies, but I love my dogs and this is the closest comparison I've had in my life. I think it's completely normal to worry about anything and everything during pregnancy, but this is an easy one to deal with because you WILL love your child no matter what!

Dang... And I thought I got lynched for MY post before... I thought it was just a silly thread where we posted our unspoken fears. And I was called judgemental? Let's lighten up gals!

Do people like yourselves even think before you write daft things like this on a public forum?! Or do you just not even care who you offend? I happen to have a ginger boy and find your comments plain offensive and quite upsetting!

You would be lucky to have a baby as beautiful as my son and you should grow up and put the playground behind you.
lol we fear the ginger gene! We both have a grandma with ginger hair. One strawberry blonde which isn't bad but the other orange orange. My cousin also had orange hair. And both my brother and hubby have a bit of ginge in the old facial hair. Don't get me wrong, some shades of red are nice. On girls. But i really don't want to have to call my baby carrot top. Lol x
Wouldn't worry MsB, the threads are both a few weeks old now, the ginger one's still offensive but I think most people would agree the people that said them horrible things are shallow idiots.

See you got used to the forum pretty fast, even I can't double quote heh

All human beings are made in the likeness of God and therefore beautiful no matter what. I never truly understood the whole thing surrounding "ugly" people. I have never met an ugly person because no one is ugly. There are just some ugly features within people which make them unlikeable. I agree with Tiff, there are members on this forum who can't even get pregnant and there are shallow members sitting here discussing how they basically couldn't live with having a ginger child

I agree! my collie is a strange looking one lol, his bottom jaw is to small so his tounge always sticks out a bit, one of his eyes is a diff colour and his ears somtimes look 'broken' lol. But my dad actuli picked him because he was the 'uglyest' one. And ppl laugh and dont understand when i call him gorgeous, and i no hes not 'perfect' but i genuanly do think he is - what a charicter!!

Having said that i will be honnest, i dont think its a fear of mine but i have wondered how my baby will look as i have a slopey roman nose and my partner (Well not him but his mum, bro and granda) all have massive beaks lol. But for a start babys have button noses 4 a good while And anytime i think anything about him being not so pretty and i feel him kick i feel horrible 4 even thinkin it!
As for the ginger thing, im really not worried about this - i do have alot of gingers more in my grannys generation and my ohs sis was ginger so there is a chance, but i personally think that ginger hair is cute - espesh on a baby! And 4 me espesh on a boy i dont understand y some would disagree with this. And as someone else said all new borns look pretty much the same anyway so by the time ur babys got his/her own look u will love them faaaar to much to care!!Allthough i do panic about others saying horrible things about my baby ill thump them
This has made me more exited to meet my baby!!!
