i plan to use fairy non bio as its what my mummy used when i was a baby however i think its a bit pricey so for weeks where we want to save a few pennies im opting for tescos own non bio powder. they do massive massive boxes for pretty cheap

If you live in the UK... you can get massive i mean huge boxes of fairy non bio at a place called MAKRO... (not sure how you spell it) I bought a box for £17.99 in january and i do one wash a day... however i havent even used a quater of the box yet! Just an idea! xxx

(oh and MIL went the other day and said its still the same price .. i think its like a wholesalers!)

Thanks for letting me know. Makro is a UK wholesaler but in order to shop there you need to own your own business and have an account with them. My husband does, so I've been once or twice years ago but we usually go to Costco instead (not sure what Costco price is). I'm going to pick up a small box of Fairy today to use just for the baby clothes I have. I plan to use up the Perisil we have on our laundry and then possibly switch to Fairy once baby comes.

As already said - Makro and Costco are really cheap for massive boxes of washing powder and fabric softener

I will use Persil non bio.. we regular use Persil bio. Love the smell mmmm.

Agree with what above said. Makro is really cheap and last looong time.
