Dizzy, lightheaded and nauseated for the third day in a row...
Hey ladies. Not sure if anyone here can really help or not but i thought id try. For the last three days I have been pretty lightheaded, nauseated and dizzy. I have also found my heart to race for no reason every one in a while throughout the day. When I stand up my tummy goes really tight like a braxton hick( pretty sure that's all that is anyways). I get the odd cramp or shooting pain in my lady area and on my sides but nothing major. Only one today and a few yesterday while walking.
Im not sure if its just a bug or something I should be worried about. I have a doctors appointment on thrusday that im going to try and move to monday or tuesday but if I cant im not sure if I should wait or get seen. It doesn't really feel like an emergency but i dont really know what it is. I feel so off but can't pin point anything really wrong.
Anyone have any idea what could be going on? should I wait or get seen? i really dont know what to do.
I felt like that around the same time as you (26 ish weeks). I was just advised to rest more, and take care of myself. I still get the odd day now when I feel like that but generally I'm okay. Nothing showed up in my routine blood test, etc, so not sure what it was/is.
Its best to check with your doctor or midwife though. Can you ring your midwife and get some advice over the phone? Hopefully she will put your mind at rest and then you can decide on whether to get your doctors appt moved or not.
I'd phone the midwife and get advice - get your blood pressure checked etc. Pregnancy does so many weird things to you it's impossible to know what's important or not without getting checked out, so I definitely wouldn't leave it til Thursday, personally.
I don't know what service you have where you live, but here we have a 24 hour medicom number we can call for advice - I called them for advice one evening a couple of weeks ago and my midwife was on my doorstep to check me over at 9am the next morning! In my experience they never mind people phoning for advice. Hope you feel better soon and get it sorted x x
I would get a check up if I were you. I felt like this last week for around 4 days. I went to my usual mw check up to find my BP had jumped up from very low to high and I was sent in for assessment. I am now being closely monitored and know exactly when my BP is raised as i feel like this. It might just be over tired or a bug but better to be safe than sorry....just in case.
Thanks ladies. I had really high blood pressure towards the end with my first but I dont remember ever feeling like this. Hmm. Im going to call my health line as my doctor doesnt have an after hours number.
It could be low iron levels aswell hun.. I've been feeling like that recently and I've just had a letter saying that after my 28 week bloods they have found my iron levels are really low and have prescribed iron tablets! Hope you find out what it is and it starts to ease off for you! x x x
I was the same as you hunni. I had morning, noon and night sickness from 3-16 weeks and then it unfortunately returned from 26-34 weeks! I was so sick physically, had a sore head, felt dizzy, felt sweaty all the time, felt weak, felt light headed, had terrible heartburn that no heartburn remedy could help with and when I wasn't actually vomiting, I felt like I was going to vomit constantly. It really is terrible. I also had rapidly increasing and decreasing blood pressure which caused me to faint! It can be such a pain
I actually feel very weak, light headed and nauseous at the moment but that could be because I am 40 weeks pregnant! x
