34 weeks and less movement

Im 34+2 days today, and I have noticed that yesterday and today my baby is not moving alot. I usually have an hour just after i get up of her rolling squiggling etc then again around the school run 2.30pm and again before bed. But yesterday all i had was the morning kicks and had a busy day so hadnt noticed much tbh. I went to see my youngest in his school play and still hadnt felt anything so i poked and shook, still nothing. I tried not to freak out, so sat and watched my son, then felt a few moves - PHEW ! and lots more just before i went to bed.

Today its been the same, a few squirms this morning but now nothing.

I have my MW appointment tomorrow so will discuss this with her, but i wanted to get an overview of what you ladies are experiencing just to see if its 'normal' ive read on other forums that the baby has less space so it doesnt move as much plus it sleeps alot

I have read from 32 weeks onwards there is a lot less room for bubs so they tend to move about less. Defo speak to your midwife tomorrow for reassurance/further advice but as you are still feeling movement I would try not to worry too much. x x

It's always good to at least call in and see what the midwife says, but my LO changes patterns and starts sleeping more and moving less during a growth spurt. Then a few days later she's back to her normal tearing around in there. There is always a chance baby could be in distress, but if not then I think it's normal.

i go through quiet days too, when i feel very little, and start to worry, but i have an angel sounds dopler, so i always check baby's heart beat, and then i feel more relaxed.
other days he is poking and rolling a lot, to the point where it could be for 3 hours constantly!
i am never sure when would be the right time to call the MW or triage if i feel less movement, because i don't want to drama of going all the way to hospital, just to find everything is ok. i guess i will know if things 'don't feel right' and just trust my instinct.
i find eating an ice lolly and sitting for 30 mins really does help, baby always starts wriggling about after something cold.
