wasn't expecting this at all....

So i went to my doctors appointment this morning and everything was well. I'm 2 cm dilated and 50% thinned. He said that my cervix is really favorable and whatnot. But this is were everything gets crazy. I'll only be 38 weeks tomorrow, so I've been expecting to be pregnant for at least a couple more weeks, maybe even another month. But my doctor told me today that I'm being induced Thursday at 5am. He said if i wait much longer, it would be unsafe for me and the baby. From this point on, I pretty much tuned him out because I was in shock that I'm being induced in a week! I can't remember anything he said after that. So i will be 38 +6 when my little man is born. I'm still in shock.

It was a huge surprise! I wish i would have listened a little better, but obviously the doctor knows whats best and I trust him. I'm just scared now. Its so soon!

Hey hun aw thats exciting your lucky..i`m 39 weeks and feel so huge and uncomfy just want my lo to come.Here in the uk they dont check the cervix unless having regular contractions.xx

Its says full term from 37 weeks so I will be expecting baby anytime from then on

38 / 39 weeks is fine! Good luck
