Sore, hard belly. What's it mean?

My belly has been really sore to the touch all day. My oh can't even touch it without it causing pain!. It's also very hard. I don't think it's a contraction because its constant, it doesn't stop. Anyone else have this?

ETA: it's only the top half of my bump that is extremely sore.

I cant really help but i have read that if you get pain in just the top of your bump you should consult your doc/midwife so maybe just give your midwife a ring and explain to her. Sorry i couldnt be more helpful, hope you feel better soon x

Hi it could be braxton hicks contractions. Is it irregular and does it get worse overtime?

I don't want to alarm you but you need to call someone and go and get checked over. Has the baby's movements slowed down at all? Abdominal pain to touch, constant hardness which doesn't stop needs to be checked out. All the best.

Yeah the baby still moves and it hurts like hell. I didn't notice if he has been moving less so I'm gonna go get this checked out today.
