Hi everyone! This is my first post here so I hope to get some good feedback! I was wondering if anyone else experienced period like cramps and backache so early. Im 31 weeks and 3 days. It started about an hour ago and hasnt went away yet which is what is worring me slightly. The cramps are stronger than those little cramps that everyone experiences in the first trimester. And the crampyness is going to my legs also, just like my period cramps would do. Im not having braxton hicks with the cramps or anything. Unless they arent strong enough for me to feel the tightening. But usually I know when Im having braxton hicks. Is this normal? Any feedback is welcome! Thanks!!!!!
I'm guessing this is normal hun... but hopefully some other ladies have more insight. I've experienced this a bit myself recently... and I'm not quit 28wks! The other day I had some mild period type cramps, but just on the one side... and my low back was achy. Doesn't seem to be happening today... but for sure I've noticed some more twinges or pressure or mild pains that I haven't experienced for a bit. I'm guessing it's just things moving around in there making more room for baby?
I'm 31 weeks and 4days and have being having the same thing, Period cramps, bad back ache and hip pain also. I'm not sure if I've experienced BH yet, my belly doesn't tighten with the cramps but they don't last long an do come back... Not sure what it is really but might mention it Monday at my appointment with the antenatal clinic.
Well, I called the doctor about 20 mins after posting this and was told to come into labor and delivery. I was having contractions but am not dialating. After 2 shots and one oral medication they still have not stopped completley so they are keeping me over night! Baby is fine so they our main goal is to stop contractions to keep them from progressing. I hope they dont put me on bedrest after today!
