Fried eggs?


Just wondered if anyone know if we can eat fried eggs?Just deciding on what to have for tea and i fancy a fried egg,chips and onion rings not the most healthiest of dinners i know

We're not supposed to have runny eggs because without being cooked hard any listeria kicking about won't be killed. I wouldn't worry too much though as listeriosis is incredibly rare.

Does anyone know if we can eat scampi or is that out of the question being shell fish?

I have fried egg sandwiches but always make sure i break the yolk and cook it through, not keen on runny eggs anyways lol x

In theory just about anything is fine as long as it is cooked right through and served right away or reheated plenty hot too.

yea i have had fried eggs, you're not meant to have runny yolks but i like mine a bit runny so I can dip my toast in it - yummy!

Ditto what everyone else says!!! And I don't know about scampi, i've been eating it without thinking - I assume as long as it is cooked thoroughly it will be okay. x
