Breech at 28 weeks :/

Hi!! I've just been to see the midwife for my 28 week appoinment and she says baby is breech. Should I be concerned? The first thing that flashed into my head was c section and I DONOT want one of those if at all possible. I asked her if I should be doing exercises to help him move but to be honest I don't feel I get much info from her, it's like gettin blood from a stone. Any advice would be brill, thanks! X

plenty of room for her to turn and she prob will Mine still slips from breech to transverse. If he doesnt start going head down by 32w I'll start bouncing on my ball and scrubbing floors.

My baby was breech at my 28 week appointment too and even though I know theres ages yet for him/her to turn its still worrying! I have another appt later this week and will be so relieved if LO is head down! Midwife said not to worry until about 35 weeks though, if still breech then they will attempt to turn baby x

You still have plenty of time for your baby to turn around so try not too worry. I'm baby is currently breech too. Apparently walking around is meant too work as gravity will bring baby to the right position but not sure how true this is. I'm 30 weeks and booked in for a scan at 34.3 weeks to check her again. I am under consultant led care so I do not see my midwife very often I only see my consultant at hospital. I have already Been advised I mghy have to have a c section nothing to do with her being breech though and even if your baby doesn't turn naturally the doctors can try and turn bump.
Try not too worry and good luck with the rest of your pregnancy

Lots of time yet - my MW doesn't even bother to check position as they are still moving lots at 28 weeks! My son was frank breech until 34 weeks and this girl was breech last week, but not sure what position she's in now lol! Lots of time for LO to move! xx

My baby was also breech at 28 weeks and turned by the time I had my 32 week appointment. Now it's a bit bigger I can feel it's bum (must have a bony wee bum!) so I can tell it's still head down now.

I was worried too but gravity will do its thing and your baby will probably turn in the next couple of weeks.
